Who Operates the Chamber?

The Chamber is governed by an elected Board of Directors who, serve a 3-year term and other appointed business members.   The Executive committee makes policy recommendations to the Board of Directors.  The Executive Committee is made up of elected officers, President, Vice President and Treasurer.  The Executive Committee makes recommendations to the Board. The Board determines policies and is responsible for directions to the manager or chief paid staff person.

Chamber members have the opportunity to serve on committees and special projects or events addressed by the Program of Action adopted annually by the Board. Committee involvement is the core of the Chamber.  Collectively our members can do much more for the community and businesses than any one member.  Committees are responsible for determining needs and resources to meet the agenda determined by the Program of Work.
